A straightforward two-car garage cleanout runs 4–6 hours with a full crew, and adding organization, zoning, and labeling brings it to 6–9 hours. Doing the same garage yourself typically takes three to five weekends, because sorting decisions — not lifting — are what slow homeowners down.
A typical one-day timeline
- 8:00am — Walkthrough with you. We agree on what stays, what goes, and what the garage needs to do afterward. This takes about 20 minutes and it's the only part you need to be present for.
- 8:20am — Full empty-out. Everything comes onto the driveway in sorted staging zones: keep, sell, donate, recycle, trash.
- 11:00am — Removal begins. Donation and recycling runs go out while the crew keeps working.
- 1:00pm — Floor swept, walls cleared, keep items ready to go back in.
- 2:00pm — (Reset + Organization) Shelving, zones, bins, and labels installed.
- 4:00–5:00pm — Final walkthrough with you. Photos, donation receipt, and a final walk of the finished space.
